1. Biofermented Seaweed (Algae) Extract - Seaweed Bioferment Extract is a natural seaweed extract found in premium cosmetic products that has been derived by fermentation of Sea Kelp. Fermentation breaks down the cellular tissue of the kelp leaf, thereby increasing the bioavailability of the naturally occurring chemical compounds abundant in kelp. Fermentation and subsequent reduction of the kelp liquor results in the concentration of these vital nutrients. Sea Kelp Bioferment is a natural film former and acts as an oil-free moisturizer that traps moisture into your skin diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. 2. Green Tea Extract - Green Tea Extract is an active of diverse advantages, primarily due to the content of Polyphenols and Methylxanthines. The Polyphenols are responsible for the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, they have the ability to inhibit collagenase, the enzyme causing degradation of collagen and the vascular endothelium. The Methylxanthines promote vasodilator response, and prevent lipid accumulation in adipocytes. Green Tea Extract also protects against UVB damage.

3. Licorice Root Extract - Licorice Root is a multi-functional botanical, whose chief components include the glycosides glycyrrhizin and glycyrrizinic acid, triterpene saponins and flavonoids. These components of Licorice root extract act as a soothing agent to damaged skin. Flavanoid glycosides found in licorice root extract disperse melanin pigments in damaged skin thereby reducing and preventing the formation of dark marks and scars.

4. Hyaluronic Acid - Hyaluronic Acid is a polysaccharide that protects cell structures and serves as a water reservoir in skin cells. As we age, skin loses hyaluronic acid and  the ability to hold sufficient water making fine lines and wrinkles more visible. Feeding new hyaluronic acid to skin may help hydrate skin's intercellular reservoir, raising skin's moisture level, and smoothing down age lines and wrinkles. In use, it forms a thin transparent visco-elastic surface film that helps to preserve the characteristics of youthful and healthy skin (suppleness, elasticity and tone).

Niacinamide - Niacinamide is the active form of Vitamin B3 which research shows can offer a number of benefits in improving the appearance of aged and photodamaged skin and improve skin moisturization. Topical niacinamide has been shown to be effective in improving skin texture and the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, with improvements in red blotchiness and a reduction of the severity of fine lines. It has also been shown to stimulate collagen synthesis and production of ceramide, a lipid compound that contributes to the functional and structural integrity of the skin barrier.

6. Vitamin E - Vitamin E protects cell membranes from damage by oxygen free radicals.  It can prevent premature aging of the skin induced by UV irradiation and lipid peroxidation. Vitamin E is a powerful chain breaking antioxidant that limits the propagation of lipid peroxidation in skin membranes. This action prevents free radical induced skin damage, increases epithelization of surface wounds (skin healing) and increases the moisturization of the skin horny layer. 

7. Vitamin B5 - Vitamin B5, is a stable racemic mixture of D-Panthenol and L-Panthenol. The human body readily absorbs DL-Panthenol through the skin and it rapidly converts D-Panthenol to Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), a natural constituent of healthy hair and a substance present in all living cells. When it comes to moisturization properties- improved hydration, reducing water loss and maintaining skin elasticity and softness- this racemic mixture is 100% active. Vitamin B5 also promotes stimulation of epithelization (skin wound healing).
